Religious leaders have two options for dealing with momentous events. They can attempt to read the cosmic significance of the events or they can use them as hints and metaphors for lessons about larger issues. There is a risk of becoming a false prophet if one purports to be able to "...pierce through the labyringth of current events to understand the deeper workings of Divine Providence" Rabbi Rosenblum quoted from www.torah.org.
There is also a risk of failing to recognise the opportunities to encourage others and remove obstacles to God's reconciliation plans. Although this section is called "News", that is an arbitrary title from the software application. If given a choice, the name of this section might be "Building God's Highways" or "Reviving the Contrite".
The purpose of this News page is not to purport to cover all the news, rather it is to encourage others that excellent work is being done and to continue in their own efforts, and to act as a resource to help people find other souls who might be able to help with their problems. It is also to highlight paradigms or strategies or perspectives that others might not have considered that might be helpful to problems they are having. Finally, it is to witness to God that there are souls who are moving in faith and working towards God's vision; despite all the hopelessness that one might feel from picture painted by the mainstream press. When there is so much suppression and grandstanding, it is very easy to believe that there are not meek souls quietly working behind the scenes that hold and heal this world.
This kind of endeavour, while risky is also biblically justifiable, for example:
Isaiah 49:11 I will turn all my mountains into roads, and my highways will be raised up.
Isaiah 40:2-5 Speak tenderly to Jerusalem, and proclaim to her that her hard service has been completed, that her sin has been paid for, that she has received from the LORD'S hand double for all her sins. A voice of one calling: "In the desert prepare the way for the LORD; make straight in the wilderness a highway for our God. Every valley shall be raised up,every mountain and hill made low; the rough ground shall become level, the rugged places a plain. And the glory of the LORD will be revealed, and all mankind together will see it. For the mouth of the LORD has spoken."
Isa 57:14-15 And it will be said: "Build up, build up, prepare the road! Remove the obstacles out of the way of my people." For this is what the high and lofty One says—he who lives forever, whose name is holy: "I live in a high and holy place, but also with him who is contrite and lowly in spirit,to revive the spirit of the lowly and to revive the heart of the contrite.
Isa 62:10
Pass through, pass through the gates! Prepare the way for the people. Build up, build up the highway! Remove the stones. Raise a banner for the nations.
